NFL free agency rumors: Dez Bryant not expected to sign before draft

Former Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is not expected to sign a contract before the NFL draft, according to a report from NFL Insider Ian Rapoport.

Team-building doesn’t stop with the draft, and it won’t for one WR-needy team: Free agent WR Dez Bryant isn’t expected to sign prior to the draft — a rare big-name FA to sign in May. Will be interesting to see how it shakes out with the pass-catchers.

Rozier and Eric Bledsoe got tangled up with 9:33 left in the third quarter. Rozier bumped Bledsoe near the baseline. Bledsoe responded with a hard shove. They then got face-to-face and had to be separated.

Bledsoe was assessed a flagrant foul and Rozier was issued a technical foul.

It was the continuation of some off-court chiding between the pair.

Rozier called Bledsoe “Drew Bledsoe” when asked about him after Game 1. Bledsoe has since responded by saying “Who?” whenever he’s asked about Rozier.

“We’re looking forward to Game (6),” Bledsoe said. “It’s as simple as that.”

Alabama led all colleges with four first-round picks. That included Minkah Fitzpatrick (Dolphins, No. 11), Da’Ron Payne (Redskins, No. 13), Rashaan Evans (Titans, No. 22) and Calvin Ridley (Falcons, No. 26). Alabama also had four first-round picks in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Towns believes the experience of his first trip to the postseason will help him moving forward.

“We hadn’t been there in like 14 years so it was experience that needed to be garnered and we wanted to take that next step,” he said. “We came up short tonight but we’re very confident in ourselves leading up to next year.”

Andrew Wiggins scored the last four points of the third quarter to cut the lead to 85-74 entering the fourth quarter. The Rockets used a 7-2 spurt, highlighted by a 3 from Ryan Anderson, to start the fourth and make it 92-76 with 9 1/2 minutes left.
